The world of photography is my new passion. There might be a day when I agree with Anton Corbijn's thoughts that photography is more important than music. I have always been interested in photography, especially slide photography, and it has been a hobby for me as long as I can remember. After moving on to digital photography I became inspired with everything connected to that. I am still an amateur, which gives me the freedom of not caring about rules and not feeling bad about doing so. I let my eyes decide, just in the same way as I let my ears decide when it comes to music.
At the moment my passion is to capture bands in live situations. What feeds this passion even more is the fact that I get a chance to photograph bands I have worked with in the studio and because of this I might get closer and into situations than other photographers might not have access to. My photography equipment is nearly perfect for my needs. I use a Nikon D90 camera, with either a Sigma 17-70 HSM Macro f2.8 lens, a Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200 f2.8 lens or a Nikon AF-S VR 18-105 f3.5 lens. My plan is also to learn to shoot a fast paced sport as well, but there isn't much showing of that yet. I have collected the best photos from various gigs as well as from other interesting topics. Thanks to for everyone I have had a chance to photograph. Special thanks go to Nightwishille, Tuomas and Ewo, Mikko Karmila and Corel Paint shop Pro Photo XI..
